This summer was somehow different from the others. Instead of yellow, the Sun shone with a whiter light, except for a few terribly hot days, the weather was quite pleasant and warm. Apart from two or three weeks, we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning (which also saved us a little).
At the summer solstice, at the end of June, summer suddenly burst in, then everything slowed down, and by the end of July, the wind brought the scent of autumn.
I was on a two weeks of vacation and finally got to rest properly – the sea always embraces and salty water heals me. So, I was surprised by how hard it was to get up in the morning, even though I had plenty of sleep. Or why I didn't really feel like working on the new website, even though it turned out beautifully. Or why I was not motivated to listen to those two online courses I bought in June, although I love learning.
I love doing so many things—building and creating new things—and I just sat and often only wanted to do nothing but sleep. What is happening? Where is my creative energy? Where is that endless pit that swallows every effort I make?
You might say, "You probably spent more time with others than with yourself, and now you had to sit down." You’re right—mainly because I do spend more time with others, as this is my work, my vocation, my mission, and my passion. (Anyone who knows IKIGAI understands that this is the “best of” — where your unique purpose aligns with your daily activities. Those of us who support others, need to be very mindful and careful because, firstly, if we’re not well, we can’t help others; secondly, if I don't take care of our development, we can't speak authentically to others.)
But I've been paying attention to myself! Everything should be right (or should have been), but then… WHAT was that?
It was none other than the conjunction of Sirius – Venus – Jupiter, accented by the so-called Lion’s Gate opening. (This last happened in 1681.)
Before you finish reading and say, “Wow, this is just more spiritual bullshit,” let me add that if the Moon can move oceans, you can be sure it also affects our body. And if a solar flare can disrupt mobile networks, believe me, it can also cause tension in our body. The same kind of effect – of course, everyone's own – applies to all other planets too. (In fact, this was proven by the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics.)
So, in ancient Egyptian culture, Sirius was a central element in time measurement. It would disappear from the horizon for 70 days at the end of spring, and when it reappeared in July/August, the flooding of the Nile would begin within a few days (or even before it was regulated). In ancient Egypt, Sirius's appearance marked the New Year, the beginning of the new economic year, and the start of creation.
In 2025, this star was joined by Venus — symbolizing beauty and creation itself — and Jupiter, representing faith, abundance, and truth. The Lion’s Gate already added the Sun to it, which signifies action— but not just any action. The Lion, the wise king, learns from the past, does things differently, and uses his creative power.
So why did we slow down and why did we feel tired? Because starting something new and creating abundance is only possible when we organize ourselves, finally learn from the past, and begin living in new patterns instead of old ones. This summer shoved everything we needed to change into our faces by slowing us down.
And don’t think that I was left out of the party… I received my share too… the feminine side… the masculine side… instead of old patterns, the new can come. After some complaining—which is normal for the ego—I took action… let’s get it over with… although change may be painful in the short term, it’s always worth it in the long run. And how do we know this? There’s no drama. Peace and calm are present.
And all of this is crowned with total lunar and solar eclipses in September. Sun and Moon, male and female, Yin and Yang, right side and left side, ration and intuition… TOGETHER… the magic of creation and manifestation.
